I feel self blame and shame for not reaching out for help when I was younger. Specifically age 10-13. My mom literally said Gn to me every night so I could’ve told her what was bothering me. I would try but I couldn’t get the words out for some reason. Even today (I’m 18) my parents are annoyed at me for suffering in silence till things got substantially worse. Even my sister at that age spoke up to my parents (which made me jealous) idk what’s wrong with me. I can do it now but ig it doesn’t matter anymore.

      I don't blame you for feeling like that,it's totally valid. I try to say to myself how that it's best to try acknowledging that you are currently (I hope) looking for help, rather than trying to make yourself think over and over again of what you could've done ( I get more stressed when I overthink abt the past, same with you maybe?). it might be hard, I too struggle with guilt, although it's a different story for myself but maybe try that? think about what you've learnt abt yourself so far and how you can use that to your advantage, how you've come a long way in your mental health journey. I hope this kinda helped, sorry if I didn't explain well ♡

        @itsnotmefr thanks, this is helpful. <3 I definitely overthink too much and think of the past to much. It’s a bad habit. I also hope to get a therapist soon

          @Cowboy_frog oh okay, please remember that finding a good therapist might take a while, and it's okay to switch if you're not " feeling the vibe" (although I sometimes feel bad), when you find your fit, you'll feel comfortable with expressing yourself even if you don't know how to lol.
