Hi there! My car inspection is out of date… and I let this happen because I’m horrified of getting it done. My dad used to do it when I lived with him but now that I’ve moved out… I’ve got to do it myself. I’ve never seen it done and I’m fearful of doing anything unless I’ve done it over and over again. I keep worrying about where to even go, if I have to schedule it, what to say when I get there, that I’ll probably have to drive my car into a specific spot and they’ll watch me park… I don’t know how long it’ll take or if I have to stay and wait or find somebody to pick me up until it’s done. The list of worries goes on and on. I just can’t bring myself to do it. I drove without inspection for SIX MONTHS a few years ago until my dad finally caved and just did it for me… but now definitely I have to do it myself :(
What I like to do if I'm super nervous is call the place, ask them all these details. You don't have to give your name. And then go . They won't know it was you who called so no judgement.
