Taking Wellbutrin and Adderall Together: Experiences?

Does anybody take both Wellbutrin and Adderall? I've read online that side effects could be dangerous, but my psychiatrist recommended it anyway. Curious to know if anyone has had good/bad experiences with both? It's Wellbutrin SR 150mg and Adderall 10mg tablets but I only take half (5mg)

      I take both and have for a while now, no negative experiences here. Wellbutrin can raise your heart rate sometimes as well which may be why they may try to not prescribe them together, but every med will have its side effects and it sounds like your psychiatrist thinks the benefits outweigh the risks here:)

        @medicalmess I have a difficult time trusting medical professionals as I've been abused in the past by multiple doctors, so I always just try to double check if what I'm being told by my docs makes sense to others as well :)

      My doctor has me taking both of them as well, but he had me take the adderall every other day because when you take them everyday your heart rate and blood pressure go up

        @Blueeagles that's a good idea, I already have heart palpitations without the meds and taking them has made them worse, but maybe doing this will help
