How do you help with overstimulation? I’m easily overstimulated, and constantly stressed.

Omg, I use so many things. It depends on how I'm overstimulated atm. I use a weighted blanket, sound canceling headphones, lavender scented things, I also use CBD, I've found smoking it to be most helpful for me, but there are a bunch of forms you can use it in. Also going through and finding the common stresses in my life and trying my best to reduce those can be helpful to even becoming overstimulated. Having safe foods that ik I'll eat even when eating sounds awful, baths have also been helpful in just creating a calm environment where I can deep breathe.

@Cbutt Same, mostly! Weighted blankets and my CalmAid really help. The lavender (CalmAid) even helps with mild constipation 🤗

@hurt_copain I'm curious if you've tried "warmies" or anything similar. They're lavender scented, weighted, heatable stuffed animals! I love mine for anxiety on the go. Tho I mostly keep it for car rides to and from stressful places. **Also great for pms symptoms

Earplugs are helpful if you have auditory processing issues 🤗

@hurt_copain Yes! With that I will agree, I love spending time with my bf but when things go south sometimes because i’m so overstimulated if I mute him or listen to music it helps.
