Need help identifying who caused self-harm

so i recently discovered last year during my inpatient stay that i have other headmates, i have been working hard in recovery and stuff but i woke up this morning to find that someone had injured the body (sh) after being clean for months i was upset, i only have communication with one alter and it wasnt them, how can i find who it was and help?

Unfortunately, if communication between alters is poor, you might not be able to find out who it was. My recommendation would be to try to remember if anything could have triggered it. Reminders of past trauma, things like that. If the headmate you have contact with can contact others, maybe they could find out who for you
