I have issues with sleep deprivation that has been ongoing for about 25+ years. I usually fall asleep (get about 3-4 hrs) after being up for 2-3 nights.
I've struggled with the ability to fall asleep, stay asleep & be able to go back to sleep if woken up. I've also struggled with night terrors too and have tried almost every sedative.
I finally had to think outside the box and not focus so much on sleep (ex. trying to go to sleep) or lack of sleep.
I decided to find ways that would relax my body enough (while awake) so that my body could still benefit (heeling) like it would from sleep.
Oh yes! Ever since I was a newborn! The only time I ever slept well was when I was exhausted as a teenager and now I stay up about 3 days with napping at night before I get close to a normal night of sleep.
No sleep here either. Iāve been struggling with it since, weāll as long as I can remember really. Now, with so much pain and increased anxiety, Iām lucky to get more than 4 hours in a row⦠ever.
Itās all so hard.
