I have so much to do and don’t know how I’m going to do it. I’m applying to grad school this semester but don’t have a portfolio, resume, experience, or professors to ask for help. My major is super time-consuming to the point that idk when I’m supposed to have time to do this. I also feel like I’ve been set up to fail with COVID ruining my most formative years in this major… my work is just… BAD in comparison to so many others. My friends who are better students than me are stressed too which is making me more stressed because if their stuff is already so much better, what am I even supposed to do. That was a jumble of words but my I am #spiraling rn idk

That sounds so hard :( I do wonder how other people can find the time to do all that for school and everything else. I’m sure a lot of people relate to having been ruined by COVID, including me. Some people thrive anyway and that’s good for them, but not everyone else can. No shame in taking a gap year to regain your footing and get your application ready. Everyone goes at their own pace! I have a friend who graduated and has been working a full time job in her major while she debates getting a masters or a phd etc. (she’s very indecisive haha). Meanwhile my mental health has been entirely ruined and I’m going to drop out of school this semester and see what other options I could take like an associates degree. It’s easy to get caught up in the vigor of everyone racing to be at the top, but you don’t have to be like them if it’s not for you. ❤️
