I am having a full on mental breakdown. I live with my boyfriend and I’m trying to get things in order before I break up with him. I’m also starting EMDR. We started processing the other day and I feel like I’ve been extra off since. I guess I just need some advice on how to calm down so I can not walk around like a zombie crying all day.
I just feel like we want different things out of the relationship. I feel like he’s a little too immature for me and needs to experience life and grow up more. I don’t like the way he treats me and neither do my friends

Let him know that you need to talk to him about something important and that you are ready to leave the relationship because of the reasons you just said. It's better to upfront and honest about it rather than forcing yourself to stay quiet and uncomfortable. I promise you that it will feel like a weight lifted off of you. It will hurt, it will be painful emotionally for a little while, but you seem to be very strong willed and you will get through it 🤗
