So I’m new to the whole vitamin b12 conversation. I just had some lab work done last month which showed I was very low. I also have Crohn’s Disease which is very common with b12 deficiency. My doctor suggested regular b12 injections, and just wondering how that experience goes? I’m familiar with needles/shots/etc. I get infusions every 8wk for the Crohn’s, but just wondering what you all do to help with the deficiency and what the injection process is like. Do you do them at home or go to your provider? Do you feel relief immediately or does it take time to build up in your system? Any info is appreciated, just curious about it all. Thanks!😊

Thank you! Yeah low energy is my biggest thing, so if this helps that it will be a life saver haha
I had to take B12 shots twice a week at one point because my levels were so low, so I definitely know my way around this!! I usually took the shots at home in my upper thigh area, and i’d either administer them or have a family member do so. It’s a little hard to get the actual B12 into the syringe - and that’s actually the hardest part imo. It took me about 2 days for them to first start working and to me to notice that not EVERYONE is so low energy all of the time lol
