Taking Zoloft during menstruation: is it safe?

Just start it as soon as you can in my opinion cause it takes like a month to kick in so you should be good!

All antidepressants can lead to a worsening of depression, so it depends how your headspace is when you have your period. I know that my period used to make my depression worse, so just use your judgement to weigh out if you should start the zoloft now or not

I'm a male, so I'm not able to say for sure, but I've not seen any mentioned side affects that would cause an issue.
