My body has been doing a good job of suppressing my motor tics (horribly not healthy, I know, it hurts) and I haven't had an episode in a while. I've still been getting regular side face scrunches and head jerks, obviously getting worse when I pay attention to it. I haven't really been around people enough for them to really notice. I know it shouldn't be but it feels like an embarrassing thing to talk about with my friends. Should I just stop considering it a thing for me or talk about it and risk it getting more severe?
