Let’s talk panic attacks. Does anyone else have strange sensations the all of the sudden hr spikes to 170-180. I immediately take propranolol but I get scared about the what if’s what would happen if I didn’t take it? Is this really anxiety or my heart? Would love to hear others experiences… This has been happening to me for almost 2 years now.

That happens to me, my hr does not go so high but when I feel something that is not normal in my body, automatically my anxiety kick in and I get scared. I had been getting better as soon as it starts I said to my self all is good just breath and it will go away. I have to say that improved I don't cry when it happens.

I am borderline agoraphobic and my only safe spots are my house and my truck. If I have to go in someplace like a store or restaurant I get a little nuts and my BP and hr shoot up. I feel you.
@Dad.of.Many i am like that but i am getting to the point where i hope i pass out or something , i dont care anymore i tell the bully iam going out to eat and i invite him and you know sometimes he dont come and i enjoy myslef ..
My cardiologist put me on BYSTOLIC 5 mg its a beta blocker slows my HR down but i think it makes me feel weird .. never easy
I have thought I was having heart attacks more than once. If I have any left I take a xanax otherwise marijuana helps. They have these pills called Strattos sleep tablets And they seem to be that 1 thing that really helps my anxiety other than my xanax I'm unfortunately I run out of xanax early a lot Due to the fact that my body has built up such a tolerance to it I sometimes have to take 2 at a time and there the 2 mg so I really struggle sometimes if you're in a state where marijuana is legal though I would look for those pillsThey're the best thing I've foundAnd I have tried everything
I can always tell when my anxiety is getting high cause I can feel my heart beat in my ears. Which then means it's over 130. The more I can feel it in my ears the higher it is.
@angbang yeah Apple Watch is the only reason I can tell it’s jumps so high. Such a scary feeling. Hasn’t taken other meds(Zoloft) in over a year but thinking I can’t take this anymore. Going to need something
