Sorry, just need to vent a little. Im having a really hard time right now. Next thursday will mark 6 months since someone very close to me passed and its really hurting right now. It feels like everyone around me is judging me for being sad and hurt. I dont really know how to cope, I just bottle it all up until it explodes. I have all this regret built up, anger, sadness, relief, so many emotions running through my head and its hard to process them all. I know most of that probably didnt make any sense but I just needed a space to vent.

The pain of this kind of loss is hard to overcome. Everyone's time-line for recovery is different. If the sadness and grief are keeping you from participating in life, there is help available: professional one-on-one, professional group, and public group counseling are all resources. Everything you said makes sense and is, from my experience, normal parts of grieving. We are here for you, too!

Been there, done that and YES IT HURTS LIKE HELL! I lost 3 people recently, 2 in 2019 and 1 in 2021 all 3 really close relatives. My grandparents and my dad. Both of my parents are gone and I'm an only child. So I get it. PAINFUL STUFF! šš»

Iām sorry for your recent loss. No one knows that path unless they have walked it. My mom passed 15 yrs ago & my dad 20 yrs ago & it seems like yesterday. There is no time limit on grief. You grieve because you love. Your life has changed & will never be same. BUT speaking from experience, it will get easier as time does pass. Everyone is different. Sometimes you just need someone to listen to you talk about your loved ones. All of the emotions you are experiencing are natural. I used to stand in the shower & cry until I couldnāt cry anymore. Or I would get in my car & go for a drive. Park somewhere safe & cry.. get it all out. Itās helpful to find a way to release all of those pent up emotions. Maybe visiting your loved ones grave, if possible. If you are a believer, pour your heart out to God. He gave me the strength & peace to face each new day. Reading Bible verses on these subjects & writing them down where I could see them. Talking to a Pastor is very helpful. And if you have a Hospice close by, reach out to them. They are truly sent from God! What a blessing they were after my mom passed. They have group sessions on grief as well as individual. There are so many places that can help you as you travel this road.. you will find you wonāt have to walk it alone. Iām sorry your family & friends donāt recognize or know how to help you as you are dealing with your grief. I will say a prayer for you & ask God to give you the peace that passes all understanding & fill your broken heart with His love & grace. May you sense His presence & find comfort in knowing that He loves you. With blessings & prayersā¦ Clementine55š
