I have had debilitating migraines all my life that mainly stay in my lower head and neck area. they get so bad that it causes me to violently vomit. My mother has chiari malformation type 1 but i have never been checked. should i ask my pcp about an mri?

That’s where my migraines situate to. If an MRI is affordable for you (I dunno, medical stuff in the US can be expensive) then definitely mention it! It’s better to be safe than sorry. In the meantime, have you tried physical therapy for that particular area? That helped reduce MY migraines a bit, but everyone’s different.
