Looking for Advice on Dealing with New Diagnoses

Oh man, how many times have I thrown away my medicine because I was sure that I didn’t need them. I wish that I had help with that behavior. Now I have help for which I am thankful.

My biggest mistake was not staying in treatment. I had an initial episode and then wanted to believe I was “over it”. I had obvious symptoms for years but never actually addressed the problem and it took a heavy toll. It’s wonderful that you’re being treated, now trust me you want to always be monitoring yourself and stay aware and seek help when you need it.
