TW: weight For 10+years I’ve been doing really well (I’m 23) except this past month. I’m a 5ft Asian female average weight 130lb. My metabolism is fast so I usually can eat whatever whenever and maintain the same weight and I never worked out, but all of a sudden 2 weeks ago I woke up and I’ve worked out every day since no rest days, only drinking protein shakes & eating bars then purging my dinner every night because I live with my bf and his family so I have to hide it (sometimes I purge sometimes I spit into napkin) and I’ve lost 20 lbs. in 2 weeks. I’m now 110 lbs. It scares me because people have recently commented that I look great and I “look 90lbs. soaking wet” but it makes me sad & scares me because now I want to actually be 90lbs. and no one knows how unhealthy I’ve been doing this as I have defined muscle now but went from a size S-M to XS in 2 weeks and feel so tired all the time. I don’t know what to do or who to tell

Hey there! It sounds like what you are going through is so so difficult :( I encourage you to spend more time with your boyfriend and his family after dinner, and try not to go straight to the bathroom. As well as this, remember a time in your life that you felt like you can do anything- a huge accomplishment. Remember how you felt during that victory. Surely if you experienced that succuss, and felt victorious at that time, you can keep down your next meal. And hey, maybe you could switch up the protein bar with some meat...slowly take steps forward. Remember that time you felt accomplished, and carry that into the eating. Right down a list of hobbies and people/things you can reach to when you are stressed about what you ate and if you want to purge. If you keep going down the route you are going down, things will get very hard...try to get a jump start on it! You can do this!

I’m going through something similar, I gained a substantial amount of weight in a short period of time and now I’ve fallen back into unhealthy patterns to lose it. If you need to talk, I’m here
