      @Possitivevibes03 No. My thyroid function is normal, so I’m going to try ablation again in the future. I want to try to keep all my thyroid for as long as possible to avoid needing thyroid medication. I was told there is no harm in the nodules being there unless they are causing compressive symptoms or the biopsy is not benign.

      Did you have surgery after that? I have 4 nodules largest one is 4cm they want to do a partial thyroidectomy. My insurance does not cover the ablation as that was the Route I wanted to go.

      I had one round of radio frequency ablation at Johns Hopkins. It didn’t shrink my 3cm nodule, but it definitely works for some people and might sometimes require more than one treatment to be successful.
