I have my first appointment for testosterone today, and I’m terrified the doctor is going to tell me I’m faking being trans. Realistically, I know it’s ridiculous, but I’m afraid they’re just going to deny me HRT because I’m not masculine enough.

I feel like most of us have that worry when we start HRT. You'll be just fine. They'll ask you questions about your dysphoria, but that's just because they're figuring out if you want to micro-dose or take a more standard starting dose. They'll ask you about your transition goals, but I can assure you that that's the most prying they will do. You got this!!
