What do you do when you have PTSD episodes and flashbacks? Mine have been getting worse and worse so much so people can’t pull me out my episode which basically looks like I’m staring off into space.

I sometimes try to do something exactly opposite of what im doing at that moment or go to a new space to refresh my brain. Find self soothing mechanisms like a stuffed animal or a pet and that helps too.
Mine usually come at night when I lay alone with my thoughts. Whenever I start having them, I either cuddle up to my lover OR I switch up who the characters are in my mind so it isn't so painful.
I usually try to preoccupy myself with something, usually music or games
