I just realized that even the way I text involves masking, and it’s pretty heavy, at that. No wonder just texting people on recovery days takes so much out of me. I think I’ll try sending a reference image of tonal indicators to people I’d still like to text a little on these kinds of days and see if not masking in my texts allows me to talk to them a bit. If it doesn’t work, well… I’ll go from there. I’m glad I noticed this, though.
