I used to be super self conscious abt my body. When I was in middle school I would wear hoodies and jeans when it was 90°. I would never wear shorts bc of my stick legs. I was/am super skinny and people would always comment on it. Now that I’m in high school, and I’m a little more developed, I was able to come to terms with me loving my body. Now I can wear shorts and crop tops comfortably. Now that it’s getting chilly, I’m starting to wear hoodies and sweatpants. Idk why but for some reason I don’t feel feminine anymore. I think I’ve gotten too used to wearing crop tops. I can still wear them in the fall, but I love hoodies if that makes sense. I brought it up to my parents and my dad was like well that’s because you don’t have your b00bs out all the time. I still am super skinny and I guess wearing tighter clothing doesn’t make me appear as skinny and flat.

You’re beautiful no matter your weight! I think wearing clothes that show the contour of your body probably makes you feel more feminine. I’m not skinny but I felt the same about showing the waist line. Silhouettes like a cinched in waist and different necklines can really emphasize femininity in a way that hoodies might not. But being comfy is important! Try to look in the mirror and see that you look cute when the contour is covered up anyway. It may be a different kind of cute but it can still validate your femininity. Some girls actually use baggy clothes to look feminine. And don’t forget you don’t HAVE to look feminine to look pretty or not be made fun of. It’s just to make you feel more comfortable in your skin ❤️
