Currently taking lexApro 20mg with good results but have had to periodically bump the dose over the past 2 years, my doctor and I have considered switching medications, has anyone had a similar experience?

Haven’t tried lexapro myself but eventually you’re going to need to bump up on your medications if needed. After taking a medication such as lexapro which is a SSRI type of medication, your brain starts to stabilize the chemical reactions after some time. You could be taking 40 mg of lexapro but if you feel that your anxiety is still consistently affecting you, then you might need to bump it up.
