Struggling with Gender Dysphoria and Depression

I’m on meds for the depression this and other things have caused and it is stopping to work. I have three years to wait before I get seen for my gender recognition (male to female, before transition) let alone the hormone therapy and “bottom” surgery, what do I do because it’s affecting how I function. I don’t want anybody to worry, but I’m so confused and hurt I don’t know how long I can last with this

      I saw your post and may not be in your shoes but wanted to take a moment to let you know if no one else has told you recently, I am proud of you. You have probably been through a great deal getting to this point, so you are strong and keep being who you are and hang in there. You are loved and being true to who you are 🥰

      Yeah the waiting list is painful and I also find that fluoxetine seems quite minimal, I would suggest making it clear to your doctor how badly it affects you as they may provide bridging treatment

        @spc99 I don’t really know what “bridging treatment” is. I have three years left and even then, the pain of not feeling whole will still hurt me

          @Kayleigh.05 bridging in terms of hrt would be like a small dose prescription of estrogel but nothing else, just while you wait for the three years to pass by, little win. Depends on where you are though
