I have type one bipolar disorder and I’m currently going through another manic episode because I’m stressing over my two new part time and full time jobs that I accepted in doing for more money, but it’s causing me to sleep less and eat less but with more energy. I’m forcing myself to eat once or twice a day to lose weight because people made me insecure so it’s causing the manic episode to last longer. On top of that, I have to attend school this year and get a better life so I’m currently suffering in style and would like to know what the hell to do to calm down because my meds and weed isn’t helping anymore. Any advice??

Just dont make any big decisions during this time. I have bipolar type 1 too. For calming down, i take 50 mg of trazodone a night ❤️ 🤗 no abusing any like stuff like caffeine or sugar, keep it out of the house. 🙌 and like listening to the peace and quiet ➕hugging a stuffed animal helps me fall asleep all the time. Sleeping is a superpower. Like i was telling someone that i have a dream journal to turn sleep into a game. “How many dreams can i remember?” Its like watching brain tv!

Try meditation. I get really high manic episodes and it helps me calm down and think clearly. Simply taking a few minutes to breathe and focus on breathing helps to ground myself and get my thoughts in order.
