What are ways I can fall asleep at night when I’m severely anxious about my new job? I’m afraid if I don’t get enough sleep, I won’t function well at work. I’ve tried meditation, deep breathing, no screen time….

Melatonin didn't really work for me. I use sleepy time tea with a prescribed med. I've been trying to get away from using the aid of stronger meds but for the life of me i just can't sleep. I feel like at night my day and lifes conflicts catch up to me and are automatically replay themselves. The idea i have control never plays out. I feel like a prisoner to my brain. 😥

What's worked for me, and it may sound cliche, is really accepting, acknowledging, and allowing the anxiety to be present. When the thoughts come, let them come and let them go. Don't force yourself to be in bed, allow yourself to get up and do something. I really like puzzle games and I have some comfort YouTubers I'll watch when I need. If you got a read you've been enjoying, or a color book, do that. Try to remind yourself that you will be okay tomorrow, you can get through it, and it won't last forever. ❤️

Have you tried melatonin supplements? I can't get to sleep without them. I use the tasty gummies (Natrol brand) and they work great at only 5 mg
