What does restless leg syndrome feel like to you? How would you describe it. Google gives me a lot of answers, most of them different from each other. Also, is it in your feet too? Or only feet or actual legs? I suspect I may have it, and it is very recently starting, but I am unsure of what it feels like so I don’t know. For me it is in my feet/toes and they need to be moved and I feel the need to bend my toes. And if I don’t I feel ancy and uncomfortable and squirrelly. And like everything just makes me feel like my muscles are crawling and sometimes it is worst at night. What is your experience with this? Have any treatments that have helped you? Please let me know you this affects you!

For me the words that come to mind are panicky, claustrophobic... Physically my legs feel as if they're crawling under the skin and if I don't move them it builds into an awful kind of pressure

@Rat_Mum_Em I have been describing the feeling to ppl as claustrophobic toes! And yes I agree! That's my experience too. Do you take meds for it?
@E_belli thought I might sound crazy saying that! I'm not on medication for it no
For me, it's like I physically can't not move my legs. They just kinda kick out a bit. When I try to resist moving them it feels really odd if I don't take my medication it keeps me awake at night. I didn't know what it was until I described my symptoms to my doctor and she knew right away what it was. My recommendation is to talk to your doctor about your concerns. My mom also has restless leg and for her, it hurts if she doesn't move her legs and she doesn't seem to have the involuntary movement that I have. So I think it can be different for different people
@Bakon do you see a PCP for that or a psych? What med did they give you? If you don't mind me asking. Does it happen all day or only at certain times?

@E_belli it also happens more the lea active I am that day like long car rides
@E_belli it mostly happens at the end of the day and at night I am on pramipexol for it because it keeps me up at night. I just saw my regular doctor for it although she is technically a nurse practitioner.
