Similar issues… I often have my mother come with me to help me remember all of my many symptoms, but, then, the doctors & staff look at us like I must be a hypochondriac & that my mom must have Munchhausen by Proxy. Try to make a list or two of your symptoms (chronic, new & worsening) & any questions or concerns you may have… I often end up re-writing my lists to be in logical order, so I find that it helps to make a rough draft first. Either way, I think it is helpful to have these lists to organize my thoughts, & I read them repeatedly to reduce my anxiety by knowing that I’ve covered everything I feel necessary to bring up during doctor appointments.
