I think you should have a talk with them about how the jokes really make you feel. i don’t think it’s right for them to treat you like that, I understand. im a high school senior as well and i see where you’re coming from. i think talking to them while help and if not they aren’t the right friends for you. i really hope if you do talk to them they understand how you’re feeling and take those feelings into consideration.

I agree with everyone else. I am a person who would never hurt others intentionally and I have had toxic friends myself but they have left me before I could do anything. It took me years to get the friends I have today even though they are mostly online. I even have a boyfriend even though he is from a different state. But if they won't listen to your explanations then they aren't friends worth having.

Hey, I've been there before. I'm not in high-school anymore but when I was the best thing I did was cut off from toxic friends like that. While I do agree that trying to talk to them about how all of this makes you so upset if that doesn't work don't be so afraid to just go on your own for a bit. Even if you still do those trips with them, maybe take some alone time while on these adventures, see how you feel in these new places without anyone else around you. That was something I wish I had done sooner. I hope all of this helps.
