I am recently diagnosed with super aggressive Crohn’s disease and am still dealing with the after effects of my relapse, so I’d love to talk about that. But I also have dealt with long-term anxiety as well as grief, depression, family issues and body-image issues that I would also love to discuss with someone who is going/has gone through anything similar :)

I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety since I was under 10 years old. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s last year and it has definitely made some big changes in my management. It’s so frustrating that your body won’t do what you wish it would, and honestly you should give yourself the time to grieve the life you expected to have at this time. That does not mean nothing will ever be the way you hoped but I’m just trying to say that I get what you’re feeling. There is biological components in Crohn’s and depressive symptoms that become tricky to maneuver (did y’all know that 95% of your serotonin is from your gut?) I wish you good luck, and I’m here for you

It is very hard for my family to understand me, they don't realize that crohns dosnt just affect your stomach and having to go to the bathroom. I feel like for me the best thing thay my family can do is support me and let me do what I need to do in order to help myself. I'm sorry your crohns is getting worse again and maybe talk to your parents

hey! i’m sorry your family doesn’t understand. I know my family doesn’t completely either. I don’t have arthritis but I did have to go see doctors for join pain because there was a possibility that I had it. There wasn’t any sign of it though. If you ever wanna talk i’m always here!

Hey hey! I’m currently dealing w ups and downs of anxiety. I would say I have my Crohn’s under control after hospitalization back in April 2021 but now I’m dealing w excruciating pain that’s being classified as rheumatoid and ugh it just sucks cause I feel my family acts like they support me but I don’t think they really understand
