This is a strange question. Does anyone ever experience toe or foot anxiety? It sounds weird, I'm aware. Idk if I can explain well. For the record, one of my stims is cracking my toes/fingers. Obsessively. ADHD & OCD are not friends and they like to gang up on me sometimes more often than not. Like when you have shoes on and then you are very aware the space in your shoe is small and then your toes/feet start to feel claustrophobic? And then all of a sudden you have a wave of panic. Like if I don't get my shoes off and have full motion of my toes, I'm going to crawl out of my skin. What the heck I'm I supposed to do! Like I need my toes to have complete range of motion and my toes spread completely out and able to be cracked or whole or help the eclipse. Or I feel like my toes are too close to each other, like family her. sure so are others obv and again it's the small space. They're toes so it logically doesn't makes sense and I know they're not. But man. Panic and mad anxiety and the I so plan (under my mom's dinner, request). Do you have money. Does anybody have anything remotely similar on any part of the bottom or clothes. Or any issues. Weird I know. Stupid feet!

@Molly_Grace I like to wear my sandals just bc I need some support for my foot issues. Otherwise! I agree! But no socks to bed at all! Oh my! I've had something similar! Except I don't think it is related like yours probs is. Back when I was abusing substances, I drove high all the time. I mean I would smoke before I got in the car every time. So now I have like what I would consider similar to an acid flashback but for weed. I start to become very aware of my body and how it feels strange in motion and the hands thing like you and just feeling hyper-aware of my body and place in my seat and place in the lane/on the road and I feel like I feel every little hand movement thru my steering wheel. It is not a fun trip! It is freaky.

Interesting. I hate wearing shoes or socks unless I absolutely have to (my mom too). And I've had moments, especially when I'm driving where I become hyper aware of my hands for some reason. I don't know if it's the vibration on the steering wheel but all of a sudden they feel too big and I start to freak out a little about how they feel. I tried to explain this to my husband once and he just looked at me weird. I wonder if that's related at all. ADHD too.

Have you been assessed for autism as well as ADHD?

@Natz I have not. But I won't really have any symptoms other than the sensory issues. Mine follow the ADHD narrative.

I completely understand and 100% get this. Some of my other ADHD friends do too. We call it sock attack or shoe attackšŸ˜† Then you have to rip them off in a state of utter despair rofl hahahaha

@Romalla ah yesssss!! So glad to hear someone else has this!! I'm like walking around my office barefoot, which nobody is gonna say anything. Haha. I just explain my odd sensation lol. Luckily my office is an apartment that I share with one coworker and overlap only 3 days. I work at a residential mental health apt complex. Benefits of working in mental health!
