My friend insists on taking pseudoephedrine for their ADHD, what should I do?

I personally cannot take pseudoephedrine, or my resting heart rate will jump into the 200s. It’s a stimulant, so if they’ve never had the opportunity for actual meds, Sudafed (decongestant with pseudoephedrine, how I discovered it and I do not mix), is actually a pretty clever solution.
