has anyone with fibromyalgia and/or insomnia gotten a mild concussion before? Ive been in excruciating pain and even with sleeping meds, I have been waking up during the night more frequently. I only found out today, 9 days after I initially hit my head, that I have a mild concussion and I’ve been to work and school since then, and today, my baby brother yanked on my hair, right where I hit my head🥲so i kinda haven’t been taking it easy. and my baby brother can’t really control himself he’s 10 months old, but I’m at a loss at this point. cold air hitting the top of my head HURTS, advil, as well as Tylenol, don’t really work for me, and I don’t wanna take any of my migraine meds incase it just doesn’t help at all because I know it’s a (mild) brain injury. I’m trying not to overthink here, but I’m scared everything I’m doing will just aggravate it more and prolong my suffering.

I really think you should see a doctor. Maybe he will decide to perform some head imaging tests to check if you have a hematoma.

what can a doctor do though? My grandma is a retired RN and she checked my scalp for broken skin and checked my pupils & they were equal & reactive, (it was before my brother pulled my hair, but i don’t think that could hurt my brain that much?) I’m open to suggestions, I just know that they can’t really prescribe anything that’d help, but I could be wrong

You should definitely see a Dr asap if you have a concussion with these symptoms. I'd recommend urgent care if you're primary can't see you within the week
