Does anyone else occasionally have really bad hip and lower back pain? Could it be hypothyroidism related??

I do have lower back pain. I was thinking because of my new office job that I don't walk too much as I did before getting this job or gaining some weight for sitting down most time of the day

I live with constant lower back and hip pain, which radiates into my pelvis and down my left leg. I have always assumed it was because of a previous pregnancy in 2011/2012. I suffered from symphysis pubis dysfunction and it seems my SI joint just, never recovered. I never had the pain before this, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism early 2007, but had been symptomatic for several years before.

I have all the above- hip and back pain, had arthroscopic hip surgery a year ago, under active thyroid

I get a load of joint pain too, lower back included. I'm no medical professional but it kinda feels like the hypothyroidism gives pain a +10 damage point or something. For example if someone were to go on a walk and come home, they may want to rest their legs for a while and have aching feet or something, then be fine. But If I went on a walk, my legs would probably start aching during the short walk, they would ache after the walk so I would rest for the rest of the day. Only to wake up the next day and be very stiff and in pain.. it's annoying. It's very possible to be thyroid related, because before I was diagnosed and started medication, I wouldn't have the pain issue or many other symptoms tbh. Once I started levothyroxine it's kind of like the symptoms woke up and hit me at once. Again tho I'm no medical professional, so...

I get alot of joint pain and acges, and I believe this is normal for people with hypothyroid because of the water retention.

I have all kinds of joint pain. I don’t believe it’s related to my thyroid though

I’ve been dealing with it since December which is a month after I was diagnosed and it’s really intense.

I deal with this too. I've always associated it with my pregnancies and having epidurals/spinal blocks put into my spinal column during delivery. Didn't think about this. 🤔
