Apologies for the late night post. I’m just feeling really depressed right now. I’ve been having a couple of rough days and I don’t know what to do.

      No need to apologize, it's all good, and i would just try distracting yourself, music, art, anything to take your mind off it and eventually you'll go to sleep

      Yeah definitely move around however possible and I agree with the mindless phone games or coloring. It's definitely hard to start doing but once you're at least working on self care it does help. Task seratonin is a thing like doing the dishes or laundry helps me feel like I'm doing something while not doing much. I've also heard if you need to shower but it's hard you can do a bird bath over the sink. If cooking a meal is too much you can get little applesauce packs or a rotisserie chicken. You have to remind your brain (however small) that's what your body needs 💙

      I also find that drawing and art 🎨 definitely helps you relax and fall asleep. I love puzzle 🧩 too, keeps your mind busy and not thinking 🤔 too much.

      I know this probably doesn't help but I do mindless activities when I'm depressed and cant sleep like crocheting or I do algebra on a math practice app. Or suduko or other puzzles. Keeps the brain focused on getting tired.
