my 1 year trauma is coming up in may and mines loss and medical related and im so scared something will happen to me that day. does anyone have any tips on how to calm my anxiety about it.

on my trauma anniversary day, i try to plan something that i know i will look forward to, even if it is in the safety and comfort of my own home. such as saving a new episode of my fav tv show or podcast to listen to that day, open exciting packages that day, start a new art project or boom, etc. anything you know you'll enjoy
I don't know the specifics of your trauma but I was mugged at gun point. I had to literally call out of work and hide all that day. I think I tried to sleep it away. Do whatever yiu feel you have to to just get the day over with.
