This evening, I noticed there was a moth in my kitchen. I have a MAJOR phobia of any kind of bug, and I cannot calm down. This was hours ago. I want to cry, my skin is crawling, and I don’t know what to do. I killed it from a distance, but I’m seriously upset. How can I calm down? I keep my home immaculate at all times for this reason exactly, I do not want bugs anywhere in my home. I know it’s unavoidable, but the goal is to minimize it so I’m constantly cleaning. What can I do to relax?

I can’t fully relate because i do love moths, but I’ve found certain plants/scents keep things away! Peppermint helps with spiders!

Make sure you have bug lights & bug zappers outside your house to keep bugs away. Go to a safe space, close your eyes, sit quietly & take deep breaths from your belly, in & out. Open your eyes & do some slow stretches. Go back to your eyes & belly breathing after a few minutes of stretching. Focus on something peaceful & beautiful that makes you happy & keep your mind on that. Let your mind play out the scenes as you relax. Allow yourself 20 minutes or more to do this. Hope you feel better.
