I have my pain in my middle lower back. I'm good sitting, an laying down. I can't stand to stand to long. I'm afraid I might have to use a Cain if I'm going to walk a distance.
When back pain is isolated to one side of the body and radiates down your leg it could indicate you may have a herniated disc. This is why I mention the importance of having an MRI. About a year ago I want through this. I couldn’t be on my feet for a few minutes at a time. Some people have good luck with physical therapy to correct this. I unfortunately needed surgery & am still recovering after 6+ months.
I’m wondering if I have a herniated disc in my lower back . I’ve had 2 herniated discs c5 to c7 about 7 years ago and still have nerve pain issues from that . Now I’m having severe pain in my lower back, down my right hip and buttock and to my right foot. It has bothered me off and on since I had epidural with my last child February of last year but after a 10 hour trip in a car , I’m in so much pain. I would rather have a baby with no epidural than deal with this. I’m having to use a cane and that doesn’t always help. Last night the pain was so intense that I peed my pants and almost called an ambulance bc I couldn’t get out of bed . Every time I moved the pain was horrible . I was in tears and scared. I’m waiting on my husband to get back in town to go to the doc . I can barely walk and any sudden movement is so painful .

I have chronic low back pain on my right side. I can only walk or stand for a short time before I am in pain. Sitting relieves the pain.
