Coping with Misunderstandings from Able-Bodied People

Hi, everyone! I just found this app on Insta and thought it would be interesting to try it out. I’ve been enjoying fibro, rheumatoid, and some other fun things for a while now. I used to hang out on some Facebook forums, but I felt like it was still hard to find people who were similar to me and what I’m going for in life. I’m quite a bit hippy dippy and holistic, and my favorite place in the world to be is in the ocean. It helps that I live in Florida. A question I’d like to throw out to you all is, how do you cope with the suggestions and criticisms and flat-out misunderstandings and assumptions from people who are able-bodied, or who are at least much more able-bodied than you are? Or maybe just how do you feel when you encounter these social rhythms?
