does anyone on here have POCD and is willing to help me understand if I myself /really/ have it? Obviously, this is not a replacement for actual proper diagnosis. I simply relate to many of POCD sufferers, but I don’t have the same exact thoughts as others so I’m anxious I may not even actually have it.

Social Anxiety

Anxiety (Including GAD)

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Acute Anxiety

Complex post traumatic stress disorder

Mental illness is different for everyone, OCD included. Even if you share a subtype with someone, you could have completely different triggers and compulsions. I recommend reading more on OCD subtypes from the NOCD website, if you haven't already. They also have an app, which I recommend. But do talk with a professional about it so they can discuss possible ERP.
