I’m just crying rn. I stoped taking my meds for all my health conditions and everything started getting really bad. I finally took meds tonight, and All I felt was failure. Like I can’t even function without my medication. My skin breaks out I can’t work. Every time I stop I just feel like I should be able to handle it like a normal person, but I never can.

Needing medication indicates you have a medical condition. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Would you feel the same way if you had, for example, diabetes. I have a chemical imbalance and have been on my meds for several years, it helps me. Maybe try talking to your doctor about the problems your having and he can possibly prescribe a generic brand or something. Hope this helps.

I understand how you feel. However, I want you to know that Bipolar Disorder and your other conditions aren't contingent on solely your willpower. Your will to change these things may be futile because these conditions are real and not in your head. They are actual chemical imbalances that are not your fault, and these medical treatments just treat the conditions, not you as a person. Sure, they overall make you feel better, but that's because you're getting the proper medical attention you NEED. It's a matter of acceptance, and it does take time to accept it. I wish you all the patience and understanding you need ❤️❤️
