Is there anything besides medicine that can help me cope with ADHD?

Set a lot of alarms and stick to a routine. Set deadlines a few days before the actual deadline so if something is late it's not actually late. I also find that my thoughts slow down and I like myself more when I exercise often. Try to go to sleep at the same time every night. Hopefully these tips help šŸ¤—

I use apps like Finch to set goals for myself the next day and as a journal. I also heavily use the notes, reminder, and calander app on my phone to stay on schedule and keep track of things. I also have a pjysical calander thats on my wall next to my door so i always have to look at it when leaving. Finding good stimulus fidgets for when you need to concentrate and remembering to take a breif break every 20 minutes or so if you can also helps.

If itā€™s related to school or work, I always give myself a LOT more extra time to start things as early as possible (try to do something earlier than a typical person would, like start a paper as soon as i find out about it) because in reality I will be distracted and only do tasks in short increments. And anyways, starting earlier is much less stressful than starting later.
