I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder at about 19 and three later received a PCOS diagnosis. Upon reading about estrogen I found that it has antipsychotic properties. Anyone else have a feeling the two are very much so related?

I can’t make any medical claims but I can HIGHLY recommend Evening Primrose supplements! I have PCOS, PMDD and anxiety that bordered paranoia; it got rid of all but the very minor symptoms and it’s a mild blood thinner as well so it prevents clotting from the hormone pills. I’ve heard it works on mild bipolar and schizophrenia so as smears ask your doctor, but I would say you would benefit greatly from it. It really helped my quality of life. And yes, I totally believe that PCOS has a lot of links to mental and emotional disorders. Just remember, you are NOT your disorder. I hope you find the right treatment program for you 😊
I have PCOS and psychotic symptoms, I had no idea they might be related but it makes sense!

@KirbyWirby I did very little reading but it is a very solid connection from what I understand and feel honestly
