Hi! I get moments with my t1d where I get really depressed bc I wish to just be normal. I hate having to check my blood sugar and I hate have to give myself insulin. I just want to eat without worrying. Sometimes I just cry because I get over it. I’ve had it for more than half my life and I’m still struggling. Is there anything that helps you cope?

I can be the same way. burnout sucks. like so bad. I don’t know if you have a strong connection with ur family but I find just feeling loved by my family can help me over come it. they are the people who understand me the most and help me fight it everyday. if i’m getting in a place where I don’t want to do it my mom will help dose for me so I can get a mental break.

Hearing the support of loved ones helps a little. Talking to a professional might be helpful too. I've seen someone sharing on tik tok a free phone service to talk to a counselor or some sort of professional in that field of skills. Make sure the friend or family member is in a place to listen to you before you unload. It's okay that you feel this way. I hope you find what you need to work through it.

Talk to your friends, family, or someone you trust. You'll be surprised how much it helps.

I completely understand it can be immensely difficult and I get so exhausted often. I know though some days are easier than others. Hang in there and keep going! For me having a relationship with Jesus has helped me the most. 💕
