So I am a recovering addict with ADHD and PTSD, and possibly bipolar disorder. I struggle sometimes with the judgement that comes from medications I take because they are highly frowned upon by a lot of the recovery community. I know I shouldn’t care with what people think if I’m living my best life, but sometimes it’s hard to ignore the intense judgement, especially because it prevents so many recovering addicts from seeking proper treatment for themselves! How do y’all cope with this?
