hey guys! recently i realized that something is really of with my brain. I have always known, but it has always been covered by my overwhelming anxiety. Now that I am getting treatment for my anxiety and my head in theory should be more clear, I am noticing that something is off. I have thought it could be depression, but I think my mood is too unstable for it to be that. Sometimes I am so tired and feel so heavy that i can’t move but it only lasts for like 30 minutes. I don’t think i have bipolar or cyclothymia because I don’t think I feel one way for long enough for it be an episode. I also don’t really understand what a manic episode feels like, but i’m not aggressive or spontaneous and i don’t put myself in danger so i don’t think i have manic episodes. I’ve thought about bpd, but i also don’t think it’s that. Basically my brain just feels all scratched up and is definitely not a pretty place to be. I have talked to my therapist and she agrees it is something other than anxiety, but i don’t have any clue what it is. I realize some of this may seems like ocd, which i am diagnosed with, but i understand my ocd really well and i am almost sure that it isn’t that. It’s hard to believe that i’m not just being dramatic because my symptoms don’t fit into any mental illness that i’ve heard of, but I can’t imagine the average person feeling like this. Sorry this was really long but does anyone feel like this or know of something else i could look into it being?

Could you be ruminating? Medication can affect you in weird ways, could be the medicine. Get checked out by a therapist and medical doctor to make sure everything's good.

I recommend getting your physical health checked by a doctor since sometimes physical ailments (autoimmune, thyroid, etc.) can also have impacts on mental health
If you are taking any medication for anxiety it could possibly be that. I noticed on one I felt weird and a bit dead compared to the one I am on now. Maybe it is your brain reprogramming itself or something like that as you work through your anxiety with your therapist.
i’d explore bpd a bit it sounds not similar but it somewhat aligns with what my bpd is like. also just look into mood disorders in general it sounds like it could be that
