Feeling Nauseous and Coughing - Need Answers!

Does anyone have an issue where they feel nauseous and you feel like you need to throw up but you don’t? And you fry cough so hard that your throat becomes sore? And it happens randomly? I had an MRI and said no acid reflux or anything and I’m just crying cause I’m like what is this than?!? Help I need answers anything!

      Endoscopy would show gerd or hiatal hernia, I have both and I get this feeling all the time

          @Unknown89 right but if it’s not acid reflux endoscopy is your best bet to show something. It’ll show inflammation in your stomach instead of acid

      I get randomly nauseous and gag a lot for no reason. Normally, once I gag, the nausea goes away in that moment. I’m also trying to figure out what causes this. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything that helps. I’ve had acid reflux for 9 years and was recently diagnosed with IBS. I’m not sure if it’s related to either of those, but thought I’d put it out there :)

        @Alpen thank you. It’s so odd. I have been crying a lot. I asked my doc about ibs if it causes cause I have it and he said no. And they did an mri for acid reflux didn’t find anything. Not sure if an endoscopy would be better to do. I’ve just been recently having this feeling and once I dry cough I’ll feel a bit better but I will kind of just feel out of it the rest of the day.
