Getting a good motility GI, mine ran the motility testing so it was 100% up to date. Diagnosed gastroparesis, so they put me on the high protein/low fat/low fiber diet. Added motegrity which specifically moves the colon. Been doing much much better ever since!

Bro just from what I know GI docs love putting people on stuff like omeprazole, itā€™s their answer to everything lol. PPIs and ant-acute will make your motility worse because you need acid to breakdown food and initiate peristalsis. Idk your specific situation, but I was having reflux and silent reflux, I started taking betaine hcl, so helpful. Try it, canā€™t hurt you if u take it and have problems just take a couple tums itā€™ll neutralize the acid. The lower esophageal sphincter closes at a very specific pH so if itā€™s too high, meaning basic it wonā€™t close, same with too low, thatā€™s one of the main causes of reflux

Not sure how your IBS deals with fiber (mine hates it) but that could speed things up, as well as pre/probiotics

@A.S.H I have the same issue with fiber it makes my stomach swell

@A.S.H betaine HCL helped my motility a lot. Also B vitamins. Yeah if I eat too much fiber I become super lethargic. Also Iā€™m on 5mg Lexapro which helps too

@Maate I did find lexapro did help as well. Iā€™m on Pepcid for acid reflux and gerd. Wouldnā€™t the betaine hcl do the exact opposite of the Pepcid? Iā€™m open to trying anything for sure just curious
