I’m at a point where it’s getting hard to stay positive. I have been dealing with chronic back pain due to scoliosis for years, and for months now I have also had stomach pains. I feel like everyone either thinks my pain is made up or my own fault. I went into the ER 3 nights in a row and unfortunately ended up with the same doctor each night, who refused to think it could be unrelated to sexual activity, and rather than try to find the problem, gave me a ten minute lecture on why I shouldn’t be having sex if I’m not married, while choosing to ignore multiple negative std and pregnancy tests. I’ve sort of come to a loss in hope that things will get better, which has only contributed to my depression, and I’m not even sure I’m really putting in an effort to help myself anymore

It's hard when doctors don't listen to people. I have issues with my feet and local doctors don't listen when I tell them about the pain I'm in. I also know about wanting to just give up. This world isn't made for decent people anymore. Those of us who are decent need to try to stick together and support each other.

@Scythe15627 you can talk to me any time you need to. I’m always game for a conversation about how frustrating some doctors can be when they think they know your body better than you
