Does anyone else have a spouse or significant other with a disability? My husband has spina bifida and I was diagnosed with MS in 2013. There are times when we are both unwell and one of us still has to step up and be a caregiver for the other, sometimes sacrificing our own health. It’s a tricky balance!

      That is beginning to happen to my husband and me too. I hope you guys have help. It’s so difficult when both are struggling.

      Very true! The tricky part sometimes is that he was born with his disability so he has adapted and learned to live with it his entire life. Being diagnosed with a disability later in life is completely different and sometimes he doesn’t always understand that. Plus mine is progressive and his isnt
