Hii it’s blue, I not long had a seizure. Now I’m really aware of my body and the way it moves. It’s so annoying. Also, does anyone else suffer with short term memory loss post seizure? Feels like I’m dory when I say that. 😂 It’s a nightmare to tackle. Anyone got any advice? The advice is needed and reassurance would be so lovely to have! Thanksss x ☺️💖

Yes, I do to. I always had brain fog after a grand mal seizure for quite a while, I don't want to jinx things but I've been seizure free for over 5 years now, thankfuly 🤞🤞🤞

There is often a link between seizures and mental health I have found. Anything calming can help with the affects like Chamomile Tea and also eat crisps if you are feeling a seizure come on. It helps because the salt content gives your body something to ground on.

I suffer from memory loss period. Even when I don’t have a seizure. I’ve heard it’s from the meds. But when I do have a seizure, I do usually black out and don’t remember much of what happened…

Yes I have a quite a bit of memory fog (both cos of meds and when I had seizures) and I know it can feel really distressing to try and piece together what's happened. I often talk things out loud to myself to just slow everything down or make myself a drink first

@Finking thank you for that. It’s just annoying using sometimes because I’m a really independent person and most of the time I feel in charge of my own life and when it all happens, it feels like I’ve lost control

Some people experience short-term memory loss after a seizure, and it can be frustrating. One suggestion to help with memory is to document everything, such as writing down important information from conversations, activities, and events with time and date. This way, you can look back at your notes when needed. Remember, you're not alone in this experience, and seeking support from others who understand can be helpful.
